SLG is a venture capital firm that has made early-stage seed investments in dual-use mission-focused companies that were founded by military veteran entrepreneurs. SLG has invested out of Fund II- Military Medicine, Healthcare, & Veteran Care; and Fund III- Cybersecurity & Big Data.  

We are currently raising and investing from our 5th fund - like a Special Reserve Wine, SLCSR II will curate a well-diversified and risk-adjusted portfolio of the best of the best from each SLG Vintage Fund in later stages B, C and pre-IPO rounds. These will be companies with demonstrated market traction and revenue and/or on the verge of significant game-changing regulatory approval.

It's exciting to be teaming up with our new partner Freedom First to be backing such a dynamic team as Aceso Plasma's Zach Steinbock (USNA/SEAL) and his swim buddy Sean Matson (VMI/SEAL). This is a classic SLG deal: Veteran Founded, Mission-Focused Dual-use (Battlefield Medicine & Operating Room) We made our initial investment in the Seed Round in 2017 from Stony Lonesome Capital II LP and we are excited to be leading the follow on A Round from Stony Lonesome Capital Special Reserve II LP, our follow on growth equity fund. With over 67 deals since inception at SLG, Zach and Sean are two of our most accomplished vetrepreneurs and we are excited to invite other investors to join the syndicate to get them through FDA trials and into the marketplace!
