Virtual Net Metering (VNEM) — the policy that allows renters (as well as schools and hospitals!) to take advantage of solar's financial benefits — is at risk in California. Thanks to the state leaders who are fighting for all CA citizens to glean the benefits of renewable energy. We encourage you to call and write your representatives and ask them to do the same. Look at these rock stars!  Such a great dialogue with all of you on our panels at #replus2023.  Both panels discussed the critical ways in which distributed clean energy resources can improve grid resiliency and energy equity.  Another highlight for me was an honest conversation about how much opportunity there is for residential rooftop and community solar providers to develop creative solutions in partnership with utilities to best serve the needs of our shared customers.
