Aviation is constantly growing and presents us with the challenge of achieving net-zero carbon emissions by 2050. There are more flights, more routes, and more passengers seeking to experience other cultures, connect with people in different places, engage in projects, and conduct business across the Atlantic. OXCCU has taken on the task of addressing this issue and is revolutionizing decarbonization in aviation. Sustainable aviation fuel is the most effective tool we have for reducing carbon emissions in air travel, but we still face a significant shortage in supply. 
 
OXCCU, an Oxford University spin-out, is currently developing a disruptive one-step conversion of CO2 and H2 into hydrocarbons, versus the traditional power-to-jet two step approach. This capital cost reduction and the high selectivity towards the production of Sustainable Aviation Fuels could enable OXCCU to reduce the costs associated to lower carbon aviation fuel.
 
TechEnergy Ventures, along with a consortium of leading investors in clean tech such as Clean Energy Ventures and Doral, joins forces with OXCCU in the collective effort to ensure that we can continue to travel while actively shaping a greener future.
