Trailways Transportation System is a network of approximately 70 independent bus companies that provide intercity coach service and charter bus service. It has been in operation since 1936 and serves the United States, Canada, and parts of Europe. The company is committed to operating safe buses with high-quality drivers and delivering exceptional travel experiences.

Team Trailways Preferred Partner, Daimler Truck North America Granted Limited Exemption

The FMCSA issued a decision granting Daimler Coaches a limited 5-year exemption to allow its driver assistance camera technology (DACT) device to extend beyond the current mounting location limits in the lower area of the windshield on Tourrider commercial motorcoaches.

Absent an exemption, companies operating the Tourrider could be fined for violating current regulations.

The exception is effective June 27, 2023.

Team Trailways Preferred Affiliate Partner, Motor Coach Industries Delivers the First Canadian Zero-Emission Coach

Universal Coach Line, based in Richmond, British Columbia, is the first in Canada to take delivery of a zero-emission, battery-electric MCI J4500 CHARGE coach. The company, one of Canada's largest private motorcoach operators, views the zero-emission, 45-foot, 52-passenger coach as a game changer for its Vancouver airport, commuter, and shuttle service routes.
