We're thrilled that Yinka's automated hair braiding solution for stylists will receive a $1M investment to scale. It was an honor to be a part of supporting this incredible journey and help bring this vision to life.

We had a blast at #NYTechWeek 2024! ✨ We co-hosted two events for founders, funders, and operators this year.

On Tuesday 6/4, we co-hosted "A Diverse Perspective: Raising Funds & Selling Into Financial Institutions In Today's Environment." In partnership with Mastercard, Banc of California, and New York City Economic Development Corporation, we helped facilitate networking and a discussion featuring diverse perspectives on the current fundraising environment and what financial institutions look for when partnering with startups.

On Wednesday 6/5, we co-hosted our second annual "Founders & Funders In Color Happy Hour", partnering with BLCK VC, SomosVC, Plug In Ventures, New York City Economic Development Corporation, and JPMorgan Chase & Co. This happy hour allowed for fun and casual networking where founders / funders / allies of color all united to foster meaningful connections. 

We had an oversubscribed turnout with 200+ attendees over the two events. Our team can't wait to host more events, bringing diverse folks together to help propel everyone forward in the greater tech ecosystem in NY. Stay tuned!
