🌿Photos from yesterday's event, "Driving Sustainable Innovation - Chapter 4: Land Restoration and Carbon Offsetting," hosted by Québec International. It was a pivotal gathering for individuals committed to sustainability and innovation.

The session featured an insightful presentation from our Founder, Martin Beaudoin Nadeau, ing.f. It was complemented by David Beaudoin of NEL-i, along with fellow specialists, engaging in a panel discussion that centered on the challenges and opportunities in land restoration and carbon offsetting.

📢 We are delighted to announce that Bruno Grandsard has joined the company's Advisory Board. Bruno brings his business development and financial expertise in sustainability to support the team accelerate its expansion.

Viridis Terra International is a global leader in the restoration of depleted rainforests, funded through the sale of next-generation carbon credits, fully compliant with the ABACUS standard. Partners include Conservation International, the Peruvian Government, and aid agencies. Projects are funded by selling high-quality carbon credits to large customers, including anchor collaborator Amazon, and involve restoring idle, depleted land using a mixed agroforestry and natural habitat model. Subsistence farmers transition from slash-and-burn techniques to focusing their efforts on this restored land, with the continued support of Viridis Terra. The team plans to increase annual restoration capacity to 40,000 hectares by 2027.🌳

Today Viridis Terra Peru signed a framework agreement with the Universidad Autónoma de Alto Amazonas (UNAAA), district of Yurimaguas, Loreto region, for a period of 5 years. 
Dr. Carlos J. La Rosa Longobardi, president of the Organizing Committee of the UNAAA, and Denis Buteau, General Manager of Viridis Terra in Peru, signed the agreement with a view to stimulating the exchange of knowledge and scientific and technological research; the participation in common events, the development of programs; encouraging the generation of intermediate technologies, through research; and carrying out joint development projects, as well as the possibility of improving postgraduate training programs in the areas of knowledge of both institutions.
