Did you know that something as simple as adopting the correct position while urinating can help prevent and manage incontinence? As we observe World Continence Week, here's some pro tips for good bladder health.

Adopting a squat or deep-squat position during urination can promote better bladder emptying, reducing the risk of incontinence. This position allows the pelvic floor muscles to fully relax, facilitating complete evacuation of the bladder. By contrast, sitting or hovering over a toilet seat can hinder this process, potentially leading to incomplete emptying and urinary retention.

Moreover, adopting the deep-squat position can also aid in managing incontinence symptoms as it promotes optimal pelvic floor muscle function.
