We took to the skies in 1996 with just over 200 employees and three aircraft operating service to five destinations. Happy Aviation Maintenance Technician Day! ✈️🌟 

Today we’d like to thank our skilled Tech Ops team who ensure the safety of our fleet. Recently, WestJet Aircraft Maintenance Engineers (AMEs) showcased their skills at the Aerospace Maintenance Competition in Chicago, competing against educational institutions, airlines, and MRO’s (Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul). They earned impressive scores in the technical challenges!  Thank you to our AMEs for representing the entire WestJet team! 💙
