Xscape Photonics announces the appointment of Ramesh Senthinathan as Vice President of Engineering. Xscape Photonics develops photonic platform solutions designed for ultra-high bandwidth connections inside data centers to power Gen AI systems. The company's proprietary platform targets scaling of AI computing performance in an environmentally sustainable manner and is optimized for power, cost, scale and reliability. “I am excited to welcome Ramesh Senthinathan as Vice President of Engineering” said Vivek Raghunathan , co-Founder and CEO of Xscape Photonics. “Ramesh brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise in silicon design & engineering, and has a proven history in delivering technology products to market. Ramesh joins us at this pivotal time as Xscape focuses on development and delivery of its first product to the market ” Ramesh has greater than 30 years of experience in IC development. He joins Xscape from Lumentum where he was VP of IC development. In prior roles, Ramesh held various executive positions including VP of engineering at Broadcom, Marvell, Intel, Quantenna Communications and a Fellow and Distinguish Engineer. Ramesh has published more than 75-refereed papers, 23 patents, and a book.
