I had a call from my good friend, Rowan Bailey at 2am on Saturday morning to say that he had just experienced the best day in his professional career. Most of you (in the YETI ecosystem) will know Rowan for being an absolute rockstar, but, you might not know that he is a fly fishing guide on the south coast. SO, for him to call me with with such a huge statement (on behalf of this community) means so much. We have supported the Orvis Saltwater Fly Fishing Festival for the past 5 years, but when they came to us and presented extending the competition to a 2am finish - we jumped at the opportunity to support the anglers with a refuge to keep them out for longer. YETI brought the first ever Night Station to this event. We built a tent (and I got to learn all about building tents in line with tides - eeeek), provided hot and cold drinks and brought heart to this incredible bunch of dedicated anglers. We were built from this community, so ensuring we continue to show up, talk, learn and build trust within fishing will always be important to me/YETI. Thanks for having us, Orvis UK !
