watttron is a technology company that provides a disruptive platform for thermal process control, enabling customers to achieve maximum efficiency and best quality. The company offers a patented cera2heat matrix heating system for heterogeneous, precisely defined contact heating of surfaces.

watttron GmbH is a start-up company founded at the Institute of Natural Materials Technology of the Technical University of Dresden and the Fraunhofer Institute for Process Engineering and Packaging Dresden. watttron was founded in February 2016.
Our target is to implement the best possible solutions for the usage of materials and for the energy needs of our customers through the use of intelligent heating systems: we aim to reduce the energy requirements of our products and to help our products to achieve flexible and highly efficient production.

#FoodTechnolgy at its best! 🏆 Tuesday evening, the International FoodTec Award 2024 unfolded on our Main Stage.

With a total of 14 ground-breaking projects from the global food and supplier industries presented, the International FoodTec Award serves as the premier platform to showcase fresh and original innovations. The winners and most advanced concepts were selected by an international jury of experts from research, teaching and practice.
