We are excited to welcome Spyros, who joins lemon.markets as a TechOps Engineer!

Spyros will be part of the Security Operations team handling Security alerts and incidents. An additional key focus area will be vendor IT security measures and to enforce IT controls in the company.

🚀 Preparing for Our Upcoming Product Launch
We began our time together by assessing the key milestones for our upcoming product launch. Using this collaborative effort to celebrate what we have achieved already and to help us align our actions, to ensure we're on the right track for success.

📚 Discussing key strategic topics in company-wide workshops
After the kick-off, we divided our time in working sessions, team meetings and company-wide workshops. As an entire company, we decided to focus on a few of our key topics. In a product development workshop we demonstrated the capabilities of our system, during a compliance training we learned about all rules that apply to us in the future, and we wrapped things up by discussing how we can further level up our hiring.

🌆 Exploring Berlin and Team Building Fun
Beyond work, we took the opportunity to explore our home city of Berlin and its great food options (highly recommend the delicious Moroccan Tagine at Baraka). Spicing things up with some team building activities, including axe throwing & black light minigolf – because strong teams have fun together!

As we gear up for what's to come, we're grateful for the time we spent in Berlin, strengthening our connection, and preparing to conquer new milestones. Stay tuned for exciting updates on our journey! 👏

As we reach the final moments of summer 2023, let’s rewind to our company offsite this past July ☀️ This time around, we kept things a bit more local and brought together 32 lemoneers in the quaint village of Wewelsfleth, just outside Hamburg. 

During our four days together we reflected on learnings from the previous months, strengthened our ties and looked ahead for what’s to come as we build our investment infrastructure for FinTechs, Banks and Asset Managers.

Throughout the offsite, the top three areas we focused on were:

🤝 Building deeper connections with the team through different activities like canoeing, making food for each other and living with 30 lemoneers in two marvellous houses.

🗺️ We worked through our product roadmap for the rest of the year and reiterated our mission and vision with the newly expanded leadership team.

💡 As a way of helping our new joiners quickly level up their expertise, we role-played the entire process chain of a trade and created a series of videos that now supports our onboarding process.
