AME Industrial Park, a wholly-owned subsidiary of AME Elite Consortium Berhad 腾宇集团 , and KLK Land today announced a joint venture to develop a new industrial park in Ijok, Selangor. The collaboration marks KLKL’s inaugural venture into industrial property development and represents a strategic expansion for AME Elite, a leading provider of sustainable industrial space solutions. KLK Executive Chairman, Tan Sri Lee Oi Hian, said, "This partnership presents a key step in KLK Land’s expansion strategy, allowing us to further unlock the value of our property development portfolio in Peninsular Malaysia. Collaborating with AME Elite offers us a unique opportunity to leverage their established expertise in industrial property development, reinforcing KLK Land’s growth initiatives and positioning us for continued success in this new venture.” AME Elite Executive Director and Group CEO Mr. Dylan Tan said, “This strategic partnership between AME Elite and KLK Land marks a significant step in our strategic expansion across Malaysia. Selangor is a key growth region for industrial development, and this project will leverage our core strengths in creating sustainable, integrated industrial parks that attract high-value investments.” The JV will operate through Oasis Innovation Sdn Bhd (OI), 60% owned by AMEIP and 40% by KLKL. OI will be responsible for overseeing the development and operation of the industrial park. OI also entered into a Sale and Purchase Agreement (SPA) with KLK to acquire the land in Mukim Ijok, Daerah Kuala Selangor. Signing the SPA today were AME Elite’s Executive Director and Group Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Dylan Tan, and Tan Sri Lee Oi Hian, witnessed by AME Elite’s Deputy Chairman / Non-Independent Non-Executive Director, Mr. Kelvin Lee, and KLK Land’s Managing Director, Ms. Lee Wen Ling.

Coexistence with the wildlife, Sustainability for all. 🐘🌴🌱 To mitigate human-elephant conflict in Johor and ensure the preservation of wild elephants' habitats and migratory routes, Kuala Lumpur Kepong Berhad (KLK) has partnered with the Department of Wildlife and National Parks Peninsular Malaysia (PERHILITAN) to establish an "Elephant Corridor" within its plantations. This afternoon, I, along with ADUN Mengkibol Sdr YB Chew Chong Sin, visited KLK’s Ladang Landak plantation in Paloh to officially inaugurate the Elephant Corridor Project. I highly commend KLK for its proactive and sustainable approach in addressing human-elephant conflict by established the Elephant Corridor Project, a one-hectare plot that serve as a food bank for the wild elephants. This initiative aligns with the goal of fostering coexistence between humans and elephants while promoting environmental sustainability. By establishing this corridor, wild elephants passing through oil palm plantations are provided with a food source. This not only ensures the elephants have a necessary migration and feeding route but also prevents them from entering plantations and causing damage. KLK’s commitment to wildlife conservation, both in terms of attention and financial resources, sets an exemplary standard in the plantation industry. It is involved in the cultivation, processing, and marketing of palm and rubber products; extraction of crude palm oil; refining of palm products; kernel crushing and trading of palm products; manufacturing and trading in oleochemicals, fatty acids, glycerin, industrial amides, fatty alcohol and methyl esters, non-ionic surfactants and esters, soap noodles, triacetin, special paper chemicals and surfactants, and palm phytonutrients and other palm derivatives; detergents, auxiliary materials for detergents and cosmetics, and basic organic chemicals from agricultural products; and alcohol ether sulphates, alcohol sulphates, and sulphonic acids.
