This week, was our two-day Slacktivation event as we embrace Slack as a company! From the interactive help desks to engaging learning opportunities with our Tech Team, it was a fantastic success. Highlights included some of our Paws at Work dogs grooving on the dance floor, photo ops for Team Members, and fun emoji activations. With delicious treats like bubble tea, churros, and pretzels, it was a feast for all. Shoutout to our CEO, Varun Krishna, for joining the fun!

It feels like yesterday... a small, passionate group of us at Rocket Mortgage set out to bring Dan Gilbert’s vision of hosting a PGA Tour event in the city of Detroit to life. 

When Dan moved our company to downtown Detroit 14 years ago, he knew a key to growth was attracting people and events to shine a spotlight on Detroit and that is where the Rocket Mortgage Classic was born.

Fast forward to today as we embark on our 6th Rocket Mortgage Classic, the world is buzzing about Detroit and the world has taken notice – the NFL Draft, the Central Station reopening, the Grand Prix, GM moving to the Hudson Building, and even more yet to come

It's a testament to the power of belief, as one of my favorite ISM says: "You will see it when you believe it."

Dan, thank you for trusting us, your unwavering support made the Rocket Mortgage Classic a reality.  Every day they are writing chapters of the book they are writing of Detroit's resurgence story. It's an epic tale, and I'm grateful to be a small part of it

Last week our team hosted the ACIM - All Company Intern Meeting! We brought our 2024 interns from all over both the US and Canada to learn about our company goals, build relationships and experience the city of Detroit. 

A heartfelt thank you to our amazing senior leaders for joining us to speak and inspire this group; Jonathan Mildenhall, Austin Niemiec, Alpa Lally, LaQuanda Sain and Heather Lovier. Also a quick shoutout to Brittany Ednie for planning and my leaders for encouraging our vision, listening to our wild ideas and always showing up to support Ray Macksoud Danielle Matela. 

Excited to see this intern group grow, innovate and develop meaningful connections this summer! ☀
