Castlepoint’s Charles Pittar is currently in Singapore as part of Grow London ’s Creative and Enterprise Technology Trade Mission. We’re thrilled to be here alongside some of London’s leading scaleups and look forward to connecting with business leaders, customers, and the vibrant Singapore tech sector!

Last month, we travelled to Singapore as part of the UK’s Global Business Innovation Programme on Cyber Security. Singapore’s highly regulated landscape is driving heavy investment in cyber, especially in national security, RegTech, and AI, governed by strict data privacy and risk management. SG organisations face unique challenges from foreign state actors and managing vast data estates across interconnected networks. During our time abroad, we had an incredible time connecting with Singapore’s vibrant cyber, tech, and innovation sectors, and exploring exciting collaboration opportunities. Key highlights included: 1. Networking with industry peers and engaging with the Singapore cyber community. 2. Attending GovWare 2024 and discussing the future of cyber and next wave of GenAI. 3. Meeting with PCS, NCS Group , SGTech , BT Group and ST Engineering . 4. Spending time at CyberSG TIG Collaboration Centre and meeting with Plexal Cyber . It was a fantastic experience, and we look forward to continuing conversations with everyone we met, and to support Singapore businesses meet their cyber, AI, digital enterprise, and Smart Nation aspirations and obligations. We were thrilled to be part of the recent PA Women In Technology Hackathon by PA Consulting , an inspiring event that brings together women in technology and innovation to solve real-world challenges using cutting-edge technologies like AI and data science. Castlepoint CEO Rachael Greaves had the privilege of participating in a panel alongside Sam Tunney from The LEAD Network , and Amy Finn and Donald Cameron of PA Consulting. Together, they discussed the intersection of AI, financial health, and inclusion, while also highlighting the critical risks we must keep in mind as this technology continues to evolve. It was incredible to witness so many talented women from across industries come together to tackle the important challenge of financial health and inclusion in just a matter of hours. The innovation, collaboration, and dedication were nothing short of inspiring. It was a lovely surprise to land in Australia on Friday and find out that Gavin McKay and I have been recognised again in The Australian 's Top 100 Innovators for 2024.
