-Brandon presented to a full audience on “why AI Pilots will be bigger than self-driving cars” as part of UMEX Talks.

-The team (Robert Harward, Brandon Tseng, Mike Hanlin, Matthew Oliver, John Isemann, Christopher J. Brinkley, Anna Strumpel, Jorie Schwab) met with many senior leaders, including: U.S. Ambassador to UAE, Martina Strong, and Defense Attaché, Major General Hagler; UAE's Minister of State for Defense Affairs, His Excellency Mohamed Mubarak Fadhel Al Mazrouei; Republic of Korea’s Drone Operation Commander, Major General Bo Hyung Lee; leaders from Singapore’s Air Force; and more.

It was great to engage in conversations around intelligent, affordable mass and what Shield AI is doing to deliver technology for communications-and-GPS-denied flight operations to international partners. We’re fired up for Day 2! The greatest victory requires no war.

Shield AI and V-BAT were busy at our Nation’s Capital yesterday!

Our President and Co-Founder Brandon Tseng discussed the AI race and what is required to win with Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer, Senator Mike Rounds, Senator Martin Heinrich, and Senator Todd Young alongside Palantir Technologies’ Alex Karp, Anduril Industries’ Brian Schimpf, and other defense tech leaders. 

On the other side of the Capitol, the House Special Operations Forces Caucus — co-chaired by Reps. Scott Peters , Michael Waltz, U.S. Rep. Kathy Castor, and Richard Hudson — afforded the Special Operations community the ability to showcase some of the most dynamic efforts being done by the SOF Enterprise… and we were proud to see V-BAT front and center!

It was great to see bipartisan agreement that the US must win the AI race, not just for consumer or enterprise applications, but for national security, and recognition that to accomplish this, we must have unity of effort across DoD and industry, along with increased levels of investment.
