25 states and the District of Columbia are set to raise the minimum wage in 2024, with California, New York, and Washington state aiming for a minimum wage of at least $16 an hour. Nevada and Oregon will start the new rates on July 1, while Florida's minimum wage will increase on September 30. Seven states will have a minimum wage above $15 an hour in 2024.
