Air Travel Outlook Reveals 2024 Milestone

Airports Council International (ACI) predicts global passenger traffic to reach 9.4 billion passengers in 2024, surpassing the 2019 level. The Latin America-Caribbean region is expected to be the first to surpass its 2019 level, while the Asia-Pacific region is forecasted to experience a significant jump in passenger traffic in the first half of 2023 but is anticipated to slow down in the second half due to challenges in overseas tourism and economic concerns.
