Airbus is pioneering alternative propulsion systems and low-carbon energy sources to achieve 'net-zero' carbon emissions by 2050, including hydrogen-fuelled commercial aircraft, all-electric multicopter prototypes, and laminar aircraft. The company has also established a ZEROe Development Center for hydrogen technologies and formed partnerships to investigate hydrogen infrastructure at airports in Sweden and Norway.
