Amazon's Project Kuiper validates its advanced optical inter-satellite links (OISL) technology, enabling 30% faster data transmission in space. The OISL technology allows satellites to form a mesh network, improving data transmission. Amazon plans to deploy enough satellites for early customer pilots by the latter half of 2024, with the full constellation of 3,236 satellites expected to be launched by July 2029.
