ArcelorMittal has launched the XCarb Innovation Fund Accelerator in collaboration with IIT Madras to support start-ups focused on decarbonisation technologies in India. CHAR Technologies, selected as the winner, received a $5 million investment. The programme will be supported by ArcelorMittal's joint venture, AM/NS India, and successful participants will have access to expertise and resources from both ArcelorMittal and AM/NS India.
