Autonomous Cars Challenge F1 in Abu Dhabi

In Abu Dhabi, the first race involving four self-driving cars and a Formula 1 driver, Daniil Kvyat, took place. The event marked the debut of the Abu Dhabi Autonomous Racing League (A2RL), where standardized self-driving cars competed alongside Kvyat. Established teams like TUM and Polimove excelled, while newer teams such as Code 19 faced challenges. The event also encouraged youth participation in autonomous model car races to foster an interest in science and research.
