AWS Data Center Leader Switches to Google Cloud

Chris Vonderhaar, a former data center leader at Amazon Web Services (AWS), has transitioned to Google Cloud as Vice President, Demand Supply Management. This move is part of a management shakeup at Google Cloud, with Urs Holzle stepping down to an individual contributor role. Vonderhaar's previous experience oversaw the construction and operation of AWS's global network of data centers. AWS currently holds the lead in the cloud infrastructure services market, outpacing Microsoft and Google.
