Bloomberg's Succession Plan and Climate Innovation

Michael Bloomberg has outlined a succession plan for Bloomberg LP, with his foundation Bloomberg Philanthropies set to inherit and eventually sell the company. The billionaire has expressed a desire to own a major newspaper and has donated millions towards shutting down coal plants and reducing gas-fired capacity in the US. Prince William, Bill Gates, and Michael Bloomberg have expressed hope for climate change solutions through innovation at a summit in New York. Former Bank of England boss Mark Carney has been appointed as the head of the Bloomberg board.
