Dubai inaugurates the world's largest solar thermal energy project, the fourth phase of the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Solar Park, with a capacity of 950 megawatts. The project aims to provide clean energy to 320,000 homes and reduce carbon emissions by 1.6 million tonnes annually. The project is a joint venture between DEWA, ACWA Power, and the Silk Road Fund, with DEWA holding a 51% stake.
