A special patrol in Spain aims to safeguard Iberian brown bears and promote coexistence with humans in the mining town of Villablino and neighboring areas. The patrol, comprising nine rangers, protects residents and their crops from the growing bear population, which has surpassed 400. While some locals view the bears as unwelcome intruders, others welcome their presence and increased tourism.
