An Indra-led consortium of European companies is set to develop an electronic warfare capability for the European Union. The project aims to protect friendly aircraft from missile attacks by jamming signals used to target European aircraft and disabling adversary electronic warfare emitters. The consortium will receive funding from the European Defence Fund (EDF) and subsidies from Brussels through the Permanent Structured Cooperation (PESCO) initiative.
