Insurtech Startups Flitter, Eleos, and Laka Secure Funding and Acquisitions

French insurtech startup Flitter has raised €3.5 million in seed funding led by Swiss insurer Helvetia. The funding will be used to accelerate growth, increase the customer base, and achieve profitability by the end of 2024. Flitter specializes in pay-by-mile car insurance and aims to address part-time drivers. UK insurtech startup Eleos has raised $750K in Pre-Seed funding. London insurtech Laka has raised €7.6 million and acquired French e-bike broker Cylanto. Laka uses a collective-driven insurance model and offers insurance products and circular economy services to e-bike riders and companies.
