Houston-based Intuitive Machines is set to launch a spacecraft to the moon, aiming to become the first American craft to touch down on the lunar surface in decades. The mission, called IM-1, is scheduled for launch on Valentine's Day from Cape Canaveral at NASA's Kennedy Space Center in Florida. Odysseus, the lander, will carry various items for NASA, including science experiments and sculptures by artist Jeff Koons. The launch is part of NASA's effort to grow the emerging space economy and build commercial partners for further exploration.
