Mark Zuckerberg Injured in MMA Training, Meta Reports $3.7 Billion Loss, Plans Layoffs

Mark Zuckerberg reveals that he tore his anterior cruciate ligament while training for a mixed martial arts (MMA) bout. Meta Reality Labs, the division of Meta (formerly Facebook), reported a $3.7 billion operating loss in the third quarter, while Meta continues to invest billions of dollars each quarter to develop VR and AR technologies. Meta is planning to lay off employees in its Reality Labs division, including the Facebook Agile Silicon Team (FAST), which develops custom chips for augmented and virtual reality hardware.
