Redwire Space Expands In-Space Manufacturing Technology Portfolio to Tap into Global Semiconductor Market

Redwire Space is expanding its in-space manufacturing technology portfolio with the launch of MSTIC, an autonomous semiconductor manufacturing platform on the International Space Station (ISS). This expansion aims to tap into the global semiconductor market, valued at over $600 billion, and forecasted to reach over $1 trillion by 2030. Redwire plans to open a 30,000 square foot microgravity payload development facility and mission operations center in Floyd County, Indiana, to support increased production of critical technologies for human spaceflight missions and commercial microgravity research and development in LEO.
