Rockfish, led by CEO Mitch Tonks, intends to transform the Longboat Café in Budleigh Salterton into a seafood restaurant branch, proposing an extension with an outdoor dining area. The existing café faced planning challenges with EDDC due to a pandemic-built shelter. Rockfish plans to replace this shelter. The chain currently runs eight establishments in Devon and Dorset and has expansion plans in Salcombe, Sidmouth, and Topsham.
