I am very pleased to announce that AW Shipping, an ADNOC L&S/Wanhua Chemical Group joint venture, has placed an order for nine Very Large Ethane Carriers and 2-4 Very Large Ammonia Carriers from Jiangnan Shipyard in China. This US$1.9 billion investment represents a major step forward in the ADNOC L&S transformational growth strategy and our commitment to expanding our fleet to carry new energy resources and accelerate our decarbonization objectives. Ethane and ammonia are playing vital roles in decarbonizing both global industrial processes and the shipping industry. As demand continues to rise, AW Shipping will own one of the largest fleets of VLECs in the world and will be well positioned to meet the evolving needs of customers and deliver long term value to our shareholders.

In one of #Spain’s largest #RenewableEnergy deals, #Masdar has partnered with Endesa in a €1.7 billion transaction, subject to regulatory approvals and other conditions.

#Masdar plans to invest €817m acquiring a 49.99% stake of 48 operational solar plants of 2GW aggregated capacity; Endesa and #Masdar aim to add 0.5GW of battery energy storage system (BESS) to the projects.

Our agreement to become Endesa’s partner for 2.5GW of #RenewableEnergy assets cements #Masdar’s position in #Spain and #Europe, and advances our ambition to reach our global target of 100GW by 2030.

This strategic partnership with Endesa is expected to play a significant role in supporting #Spain and the wider EU in meeting its #NetZero goals.
