Too often, PIs at academic medical centers do not have diverse patient panels. Having PIs focus on recruiting patients from their panel is one of the biggest blockers to improving diversity in clinical trials. By leveraging #AI to mine #EMR data across a health system's entire network we can find eligible patients seen by physicians at sites in underserved communities. And we can allow physicians treating diverse patients to see which trials their patients are eligible for in their EMR and refer them to a PI within their network.
