🚨 New Hire Alert 🚨 Meet Akash Pattnaik – a dynamic force at the intersection of engineering, neuroscience, and AI! As HOPPR 's new Innovation Research Scientist, he brings a wealth of expertise and a passion for pushing boundaries in epilepsy research and computational neuroscience. A Princeton University grad in Electrical Engineering with a minor in Applications of Computing, Akash Pattnaik 's journey includes an NSF fellowship at the University of Washington and a senior thesis on human activity recognition using computer vision and sensor fusion. He even sharpened his skills as a Solutions Architect Intern at Amazon Web Services. Dr. Pattnaik earned his Ph.D. in Bioengineering at the University of Pennsylvania , co-authoring 13 research articles with 130+ citations and presenting at top international conferences. He’s also co-taught a course on Brain-Computer Interfaces and mentored aspiring researchers. Now at HOPPR , he’s driving advancements in healthcare tech, aiming to transform how we understand and treat neurological conditions. Welcome to the team, Akash Pattnaik !
