New exciting features just dropped! 🎉 

Here's what's new in refinery, gates, and workflow: 
- Labeling functions and attribute calculation now have a neat progress bar to let you know if you can immediately continue the data crunching or if it's time to grab another coffee.  
- refinery now supports embeddings from #Cohere and #OpenAI embedding API. Whoop!  
- Project exports in the refinery can now be secured with an encryption key for higher security.  
- We have improved the error handling for gates.  
- Workflow now supports project exports and imports to secure your favorite projects!

Of course, we also talked a lot about AI and shared our ideas for Kern's future. Having a team where we value and trust each other is not a given, and we are grateful for all the people in our team that are striving to support our vision.

The GPT models can be immensely powerful. But when you have a lot of data or the data needs to be manually cleaned to remove personal information, things can get expensive quickly.

By using GPT to label some of our data we can extract its knowledge and use it to train a much smaller and cheaper model very quickly.

Last week we've been to the #m3 conference in Karlsruhe. Time to recap! As a gold sponsor of the event, we were able to showcase our amazing tools and share some stickers on our cute little stand.
