Chupa Chap is Nairobi's alcohol delivery platform of choice 🥂 

Back in 2015, Wachira Wang’ombe, wanted to let people order their favorite drinks straight to their door. 

And that year, Chupa Chap was born. Now, Chupa Chap is an alcohol delivery favorite in Nairobi.

But Wachira (CEO of Chupa Chap) couldn’t always handle the growth. 

He started by using manual, pen and paper systems to manage his deliveries. They printed out each receipt and manually wrote them down.

As more orders came in, managing deliveries became harder. It caused late (and at times, lost) deliveries. And as a result, lost customers.

Wachira recalls New Years Eve 2021 - hundreds of orders flooding in, orders getting lost, drivers not knowing where to go. He couldn’t keep up. Customers weren’t happy.

Wachira needed to find a better way to manage deliveries.

And since finding Leta to power his deliveries, Wachira has visibility from when the order is placed, until it gets to the final customer.

Started 8 years ago, Chupa Chap is known as the go-to place for quick and affordable alcohol delivery right to your door: In less than one hour within Nairobi.

But they weren’t always that fast. Before using Leta, Chupa Chap managed their deliveries with pen and paper.
