We are excited to announce that Marqo has closed a $12.5M (USD) Series A funding round to usher in the next generation of vector search.

Marqo was founded because we recognized that vector search is going to be the key to harnessing the value of unstructured data and realizing the full potential of AI. This funding round is a huge step on our journey as we continue to scale our business and expand our presence in the US. I got goosebumps yesterday hearing this from a prospect on a first call...


"Yeah. I mean, I've already tested it out. It's already fantastic. I mean, Brett, you missed this, but we have some engineers that have been building AI solutions for the past two years. In actual fact, they've spent 18 months trying to build something. 

And then they brought some engineers in house and tried to build some stuff and it doesn't work very well, and in the space of, I don't know two days I've essentially reproduced the work that they've done, using Marqo and it's you know, it's five lines of code and it does everything that these people have built and it does it way better. 

So there's no question that, this is what I will be using and I will be, you know, pushing the company to use this for everything."


Early stage isn't always about the data. It's about these kinds of conversations that validate the team and the technology is on the right path. 🚀  🚀
