This year's event was buzzing with energy, and we were thrilled to see a significant increase in attendance at the Smart Manufacturing track.

Happy Friday! Exciting Growth in U.S. Semiconductor Manufacturing! 

According to a new report by the Semiconductor Industry Association (SIA) and Boston Consulting Group (BCG), U.S. domestic chip manufacturing is set to triple by 2032, thanks to the CHIPS and Science Act. This 200% increase marks the largest projected growth in the world, boosting the U.S. share of global fab capacity for the first time in decades. The report highlights the significant impact of CHIPS incentives in revitalizing U.S. semiconductor production, with the country expected to capture 28% of advanced logic manufacturing and over a quarter of global capital expenditures by 2032.

This unprecedented growth underscores the importance of continued government-industry collaboration to strengthen supply chains, support R&D, and expand the semiconductor workforce.
