🎉 ROS 2 Jazzy Jalisco has been released! 🎉 

🚨 Jazzy is a long term support (LTS) #ROS release with a five year support window. If you install Jazzy today you won't need to upgrade your robot again until May 2029! 

There are lots of great new features in Jazzy including:

✅ Improved Gazebo Sim integration.
✅ A host of command line interface improvements.
✅ Multiple new features for ROSBag, including service call recording.
✅ A host of improvements in RViz2.
✅ A host of other new features like QoS support in Python, improvements to ROS perception, and human readable timestamps in log files. 
✅ An early preview of RMW Zenoh support.

LLMs are so 2023. Feast your eyes on large *multimodal* models (LMMs). Awesome to see Unified-IO 2 released! It's an LMM that can produce images, text, audio and actions for robotics. Models and code are all open source.

Unified-IO 2 was trained from scratch with no off-the-shelf LLMs. It was pre-trained on 1 billion image-text pairs, 1 trillion text tokens, 180 million video clips, 130 million interleaved image & text, 3 million 3D assets, and 1 million agent trajectories. Instruction-tuned on 120 datasets covering 220 tasks.
