🌐 This #CrohnsDiseaseAwareness week, we’re shedding light on how AI can help overcome some of the biggest challenges in Crohn’s Disease (CD) clinical development. CD is a chronic disease causing inflammation and gastrointestinal tract irritation. Although several drug classes have been developed to combat CD, an estimated 30-40% of patients do not respond to existing therapies or experience relapses. And while the number of CD trials has increased, patient recruitment is a major obstacle.
