Denison Mines Corp. engages in the acquisition, exploration, development, extraction, processing, selling of, and investing in uranium properties in Canada. Its flagship project is the 95% interest owned Wheeler River uranium project located in the Athabasca Basin region in northern Saskatchewan. The company was formerly known as International Uranium Corporation and changed its name to Denison Mines Corp. in December 2006. Denison Mines Corp. was founded in 1997 and is headquartered in Toronto, Canada.

Denison is a uranium exploration and development company with interests focused in the Athabasca Basin region of northern Saskatchewan – including its 60% owned Wheeler River project, which hosts the high grade Phoenix and Gryphon uranium deposits. Denison also owns a 22.5% interest in the McClean Lake uranium mill, which is currently processing ore from the Cigar Lake mine under a toll milling agreement, and is the manager of Uranium Participation Corp., a publicly traded company which invests in uranium oxide and uranium hexafluoride. Denison is a member of the Lundin Group of Companies and is listed on the TSX Exchange under the symbol DML and on the NYSE MKT under the symbol DNN.

Sampling of monitoring wells around the Feasibility Field Test (FFT) site has confirmed the successful restoration of the Leaching Zone to environmentally acceptable conditions, concluding the neutralization phase of the FFT & the 2022 Wheeler River field program. $DML $DNN

Using specialized equipment to replicate the in-situ leaching conditions of the Phoenix deposit, we recovered in excess of 97% of #uranium from an intact core sample over a period of 377 days. These results support ISR production assumptions in our forthcoming Feasibility Study.

The Canadian Nuclear Safety Commission (CNSC) has determined that the Wheeler River draft Environmental Impact Statement (EIA) met the requirements for the advancement of the Environmental Assessment process. The federal technical review of the EIS has now commenced.

Clearing the CNSC conformity review & commencing the formal technical review phase is an important initial achievement as part of the EIS review for Wheeler River – ensuring continued progression of the regulatory process for what is proposed as Canada’s first ISR #uranium mine.

We have completed the leaching phase of the feasibility field test, a key de-risking step to implement ISR at the Phoenix deposit.

Recovering ~14,400 lbs of U3O8, the test also supports hydrogeological & metallurgical modeling critical to our upcoming feasibility study.

Maximum #uranium head grade during the test was 43 g/L - over 300% higher than the assumptions in the 2018 Wheeler River PFS.

In 2021, we upgraded expected head grade from 10 g/L to 15 g/L based on lab work on Phoenix drill cores. FFT results support this notable improvement.

Additional results from the leaching phase of the FFT have further demonstrated the viability of ISR mining at Phoenix.

Leaching produced ~14,400 lbs U3O8 #uranium over only ten days, with a maximum uranium head grade of 43 grams per litre.
