Bapcor NZ segment is involved in the wholesale of batteries, steering and suspension products, auto electrical and precision equipment, and vehicle workshop equipment; and diesel distribution activities. This segment also supplies automotive parts and accessories to workshops, trucks, and trailer parts through the Truck and Trailer Parts brand. It operates through a network of 76 stores in 88 locations, as well as 130 Battery Town and shock Shop locations. The crowds (and sun!) were out in force for Autobarn’s inaugural ShineFest car meet last weekend. With more than 1,500 cars and 2,000 people in attendance at the Melton store event, the vibes were high as the event celebrated Autobarn being the one-stop-shop for all things car care. Highlights included: ☀️ A range of well-known personalities and influencers in attendance, including paraplegic drifter Christina Vithoulkas, motor racing journalist and presenter Greg Rust, plus video creators Rex H and Mike Lake. ☀️ Attendees battling it out in racing simulators, trying to beat V8 Supercar driver’s lap times. ☀️ An energetic splash‘n’dash water bucket-carrying competition. ☀️ Leading car care brands and products on show, including Armour All, Autoglym, Chemical Guys, Meguiar’s, Mothers, Salty Captain, Turtle Wax, and Vyking Force. ☀️ A special 20% off storewide at the Melton store, plus extra specials, giveaways and prizes during the event. The Burson Auto Parts network is continuing to grow, with the opening of our Cambridge, Tasmania store. All the best to Store Manager Adam and the team as they begin serving customers on the eastern side of the Derwent River in Hobart.

Following a three-week campaign where customers were encouraged to round up their purchases, our Autobarn team are proud to share that they have raised almost $73,000 for men’s health charity Movember . A big thanks to the thousands of customers and our team members for their generous donations. 🙏 The funds raised will further support Movember’s important cause areas – mental health and suicide prevention, prostate cancer and testicular cancer – and health and wellbeing programs. And don’t forget… just as you would take your car to the mechanic if something wasn’t running as it should, speak to a health professional if something doesn’t feel right with your body.
