The duo hold a cumulative 45+ years in the Australian and world wide hospitality industry. Dervilla has a PhD in Microbiology, and cocktail maker extraordinaire Sebastian’s industry knowledge has led them to create nationally and internationally award winning spirits.

Did you know the Federal Mills building that we now reside in has a long, and rather interesting history. Having been completed in 1915 the factory was the first major manufacturing operation in our fair city of Geelong. The Mill played a pivotal role in the production of uniforms and blankets for Australian soldiers during WW1 and WW2. After the war the Mill pivoted to spinning and weaving of cloth for a range of uses including on the first Qantas 747’s. After private purchase in 1968 the Mill ran as Classweave Industries until its closure in 2001, which then saw the site fall into a state of disrepair. The Hamilton group stepped in in 2013 to reinvigorate the site, creating Pivot City and winning a heritage restoration award in 2016. Fast forward four years when we, Anther Spirits moved into our new home in the Federal Mills. I think you will agree, the tower is indeed a glorious structure and a hard one to miss along the skyline on a clear day. Follow the Mill to find us!
