15 years in the making, DataFarming is developing web mapping applications for Digital Agronomy and Agri-Intelligence. Our aspirational aim is to get 50% of agronomists and farmers using spatial data. We are also developing tools for machine learning of spatial data to deliver deep insights into ag production.

Last week we held a field day North of Parkes in NSW showcasing the Grains Research and Development Corporation project called the 'Autonomous Agronomist'. The fusion of satellites, sensors, and automated drone tech is the future of agronomy - agronomists were telling us on the day that at least 75% of their time is spent in a ute driving between farms. This technology will improve efficiency, reduce errors, and enable agro's to spend more time on high value tasks. Here is a little snippet from the day.
