Here’s what Lois had to share: How long have you been with DebtCol and, what do you do here? I’ve been with DebtCol for 11 months. What is your favourite thing about working at DebtCol? Our managers and co-workers are very helpful, and they are willing to teach you new things that I’m not familiar with. They are very patient and kind. They want us to improve in our career. What is a work related accomplishment that you are really proud of? When one of our clients commended me of my work and I did not expect that because I’m doing what it is necessary, and it is heartwarming when someone notices. What do you enjoy doing outside of work? Badminton, Playing online games, singing, and playing musical instruments (Guitar and ukulele) and travel. What's your favourite quote? “Life isn’t about finding yourself. Life is about creating yourself” What three words would your friends use to describe you? Kind, trustworthy, techy What book are you reading now? I’m planning to read “12 Rules of Life by Jordan B. Peterson” What is the worst job you have ever had and what did you learn from it? HR Timekeeper it is not the worst job, but it is tough because I’m handling over 4000 employee time entries (Daily Time Record), creating reports, orienting new employees, employee concerns about salary and monitoring the biometrics system. Because of that I learned how to handle stress, be patient and develop my communication skills. Are you a dog or cat person (or neither)? Cat because I have a Persian cat, and I have a trauma with dogs. If you could choose a super power what would it be? Teleportation

She has now transitioned into the role of Client Services Manager. Here’s what Liz has to share! How long have you been with DebtCol and, what do you do here? I have been with DebtCol just over 8 years now. I was previously in the role of Customer services Manager and have just changed roles and am currently the Client services manager. What is your favourite thing about working at DebtCol? Every day is similar but it brings different challenges which keeps things exciting What is a work related accomplishment that you are really proud of? Being able to work in an industry where I had no previous experience and learning new things everyday. What do you enjoy doing outside of work? I love to craft, read, watch movies and hang out with my friends and family What's your favourite quote? I don’t really have a favourite quote but I like this one by Elbert Hubbard “Do not take life too seriously. You will never get out of it alive” What three words would your friends use to describe you? Reliable, friendly and too nice What book are you reading now? Stalking Claremont What is the worst job you have ever had and what did you learn from it? A café where the owners had no idea how to actually run it and only had myself and one other person working there all day so keeping up in busy times was hard. I definitely learnt a lot about multi tasking there. Are you a dog or cat person (or neither)? I love cats I have 2 however I love all animals If you could choose a super power what would it be? To be invisible. It can be really hard to find some time for yourself so having this power will mean that I can just hide away until I have had time to reset a bit

Different challenges that get thrown at me which allows me to learn something new What is a work related accomplishment that you are really proud of? I started off as Helpdesk Support and have since advanced onto the role of Helpdesk Supervisor What do you enjoy doing outside of work? Playing games on PS5, Cricket, Badminton, Football and spending time with family and friends What's your favourite quote? The only thing constant is change! The Psychology of Money What is the worst job you have ever had and what did you learn from it? I used to work in a busy inbound call center that taught me a lot of different skills like patience, time management, problem solving etc. Are you a dog or cat person (or neither)?
