🔋 Did you know that the battery in an EV can be equivalent to more than 5 Tesla power walls? That’s why Ben Gust from Virescent Ventures said he is most excited about the potential for Australian startups to leverage Vehicle to Grid opportunities on the Climate Salad panel last week with Jeff Renaud , moderated by my colleague Katarina Throssell . This opportunity syncs up well with the work mentioned by Eytan Lenko led by Boundless Earth which has helped Australia move from 0.2% of new cars being EV’s to the cusp of 10%. My colleague Rachel Yang noted while it is natural to feel frustration with the lack of progress towards net zero, we are on a rollercoaster ride 🎢 and there are many things to be optimistic about, especially with opportunities like these for startups to leverage.
