What a race! A huge congratulations to Harri Jones who ended with two podium finishes over the weekend in the penultimate race for the Porsche Carrera Cup 2024. Harri will head into the final race in Adelaide, from November 14 -17, in 1st position.

Thanks to Awesome Earthmovers for capturing a Cat® 798 AC Mining Truck and 995 Wheel Loader as they make their way through the streets of Las Vegas at the close of MINExpo 2024. After disassembly, these machines will be shipped to their new owners.

The winning finalist will go on to represent Hastings Deering at Caterpillar’s “Dealer Top Apprentice” competition in Melbourne in February.

A prototype of the Cat® Dynamic Energy Transfer System (DET) made its debut at MINExpo 2024 in Las Vegas, Nevada. A fully Caterpillar-developed system that can transfer energy to both diesel-electric and battery-electric large mining trucks while they are working around a mine site. It can also charge a machine’s batteries while operating with increased speed on grade, improving operational efficiency and machine uptime.
