Recently, we were excited to welcome a new team member for the week over at our Eastwood Hospital site - the Hilti Group Jaibot. The impressive Jaibot machine offers a faster, safer and more accurate solution to mechanical, electrical, plumbing and interior finishing installation work, and we were thrilled to be able to see this in action on one of our sites. With increased productivity and fewer errors, the Jaibot works to assist in streamlining plumbing installation, which in turn, increases efficiency and accuracy. We are proud to announce that our team at Hindmarsh Plumbing took home two awards at the Master Builders SA 2024 Building Excellence Awards on Friday evening. 🏆 𝗠𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗕𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗬𝗲𝗮𝗿 – 𝗦𝗽𝗲𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘀𝘁 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟰 🏆 𝗦𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲𝘀 – 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗲𝗿𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 Both awards recognise our contribution of delivering the $8.5M hydraulics and civil works within The Queen Elizabeth Hospital $314M upgrade, in partnership with Managing Contractor, Built Environs . As a result of our strong relationship with the Built Environs team, we were able to achieve a high quality and highly functional solution for TQEH and we want to extend a big thank you to the entire team for making this project such a success. Shoutout to our Hindmarsh Plumbing team who were a part of this significant project over the course of 29 months – we are proud to have been able to contribute to a facility that provides inpatient, outpatient, emergency and mental health services to more than 150,000 people living in Adelaide’s West.

This week, we received an exciting delivery of 12 new Viega Pressguns. The Viega Pressgun 6 is a fast, flexible and attractive tool for joining pipes without soldering, grooving, brazing, threading or welding. With its improved ease of use through a compact and ergonomic design, reduced weight, flexible handling and noticeably longer battery life, the Viega Pressguns make an intelligent and time-saving edition to our inventory of tools. This investment will assist in improving the efficiency of our Viega and B-Press copper solutions, ultimately advancing our productivity and ease of installation on site.
