Mad Paws Holdings Limited operates pet care services online marketplace in Australia. It operates through two segments: Marketplace, and Ecommerce and Subscription. The company's marketplace marches and connects pet owners seeking pet care services, such as pet sitting, walking, day care, and grooming with pet sitters and walkers, and other pet service providers. It also offers pet food subscription products; pet training and boarding services; and pet medication and premium healthcare products; as well as pet insurance services. In addition, the company engages in distribution and sale of pet foods and beds, as well as toys and treats. Mad Paws Holdings Limited was incorporated in 2014 and is based in Pyrmont, Australia.

Mad Paws is Australia’s largest online pet care marketplace. At the core of our business, we connect Pet Owners with trusted, local, and vetted Pet Sitters. Whether a Pet Owner is planning a holiday, taking a weekend away, or searching for Pet Day Care, Mad Paws will assist them in finding the right carer. All stays booked through Mad Paws are covered by Public Liability Insurance. 

How does it work?

3. Enjoy peace of mind with photo updates, Insurance, and Customer Support

Since launching in 2014, Mad Paws has grown to become Australia's largest online Pet Sitting community. With over 15,000 Pet Sitters, Mad Paws connects Pet Owners and Sitters across the nation. 

In 2020, Mad Paws launched a series of new pet-related businesses. These include Mad Paws Pet Insurance; and Mad Paws Dinner Bowl, a range of premium dog meals. 

Mad Paws has attracted investment from a range of sources, including Equity Venture Partners, Madoch Ventures, and Qantas Ventures. The latter of these has led an ongoing commercial partnership between Mad Paws and Qantas. 

Mad Paws also maintains official partnerships with Pawssum Vet to Home Services and dog breed authority Dogz Online. 

In September 2018, Mad Paws was ranked #14 in LinkedIn's Top 25 Australian Startups of 2018. In April 2019, Mad Paws won the Australian Small Business Champion Award for Pet Services.

🔔 Today we released our Q2, FY24 results to market. 

🐶 Group CEO, Justus Hammer commented: "Another great quarter on our path towards profitability with a record quarter for the Group. We achieved multiple highlights, hitting $10m in GMV for the marketplace for the first time as well as our second consecutive quarter of positive Group operating cash flow. We are now well positioned to start 2024, on the back of a record month, record revenue and record Group EBITDA in December 2023."
